ULTRA LIGHT GLASS LENSES
Sky Optics ultra-light mineral glass is optically a top tier lens in the sunglasses market. Lighter and thinner than most competitors. Production starts from Corning in the USA and final production takes place in Japan.

PHOTOCHROMIC - LIGHT ADJUSTING

CONSTANTLY ADAPTING TO LIGHT
All Sky Optics lenses are Photochromic -Darkens in bright sunlight and lightens in overcast or darker conditions, These light adjusting lenses provide optimal amount of all the time enhancing contrast and colors while reducing stress, eyestrain and loss of detail.

 Always sunglasses, our lenses darken approximately 10% in bright conditions.  

 HOW IT WORKS
Colored molecules in the lens that adjust to light. In bright UV light conditions, the lens molecules expand in size which darkens the lenses. In darker conditions and light is less intense, the molecules shrink, letting additional light pass through and lightens up the lenses. This provides the optimal amount of light and helps reduce eyestrain and give you the clearest view.

COLOR ENHANCING 

By tuning our lenses to enhance specific colors, you get incredible contrast which makes images pop and provides sharper vision. Drivers and pilots often discuss how it helps them see through clouds and haze. With built in blue light protection reducing distracting blue light, Sky Optics lenses minimize eye fatigue and strain. Specifically helpful when you are wearing sunglasses most of the day. 

POLARIZATION

Light is constantly bouncing around and reflecting in different directions all around you.  Polarization is engineered to eliminate distracting glare, giving the viewer clarity and comfort.

Polarization acts as a venetian blind. Parallel light rays can enter, distracting perpendicular rays from glare are absorbed. Glare is irritating, and make clear vision difficult and tires your eyes. Polarized lenses can be ideal for driving and other high-glare activities like boating, skiing, hiking and hanging out at the beach.
